How To Determinate The Good Muscle Building Meals

In this post I’m going to talk about meals that build up muscle.

To start with, keep in mind that “meals that build up muscle” is not good thing to be searching for. Explaining why is the main subject of this post. Read on.

Today, bodybuilders and experienced people know that the specific foods that you eat are not what will help you build up muscles.

For example, tuna is known to be a very good muscle building food. That is true, but not because of something in special that only tuna has. It’s because of the combination of carbohydrates, fats and proteins tuna has (read on for further explanations).

Yes, this means that if you find the same combination that tuna has of proteins, carbohydrates and fats in another meal, it’ll be about as effective? Yes. It won’t have exactly the same effectiveness because tuna isn’t made up of only carbohydrates, fats and proteins (there is a lot more to it).

This is the reason why knowing nutritional information of foods is so important if you’re working out your diet plan. You got to know what is inside that food you’re consuming because you will end up having more control over your diet, which will give you better results.

By the way, that is why some supplements work. The intention of supplements that is to help bodybuilders build up high quality muscle building meals.

Good supplements do decent job of replacing those meals highly targeted to muscle building because they have the right combination of elements a bodybuilder needs.

I’m not a fan of supplements (even looking like I am) and I don’t advise you to buy them. Here is why:

  1. they’re expensive;
  2. you don’t need them, since you can build up your quality meal plan with only natural food;
  3. most aren’t good;
  4. it’s very hard to tell which are good and which aren’t.
  5. some of the good ones have so many artificial compounds (to do stuff such as conservation) that they aren’t healthy at all.

This post wasn’t made to give you specific advice of foods that will help you build up muscle. It was to open your mind to the world of muscle building diets.

I would be really glad if you have learned that if some properties are reproduced in a food, then this food will help you the same as any other food with the same properties.

Knowing all this will help you to build a more diversified diet plan in the future.
